Benefit Auction for Canine Geriatrics: Improvisations #5
In case you are just tuning in, for the month of December 2016, I am auctioning off earlier pieces. Some are very traditional and some are the result of when I just started to dip my big toe into the world of art. The proceeds will be to benefit the dogs that are in the care of my friend Nancy Collins. Nancy affectionately refers to her pack of canines as “The Geriatrics”. Nancy adopts the dogs that most people would consider to be unadoptable…..too old, too sick, disabled, blind, deaf, etc. Nancy doesn’t care. She brings these dogs into her home, cares for their physical needs and of course, loves them. Because many of these dogs have chronic issues, the vet bills continue to pile up. Auctioning off my art is just a small way I can help with her cause. Follow Nancy in Facebook to get to know these pooches.
Here is how the auction will work. Each Sunday, I will post to present the piece to be auctioned off with a starting bid. Enter in your bid in the comments of the blog post. The week’s auction ends on Saturday at midnight CST. I will pay for the postage to anywhere in the United States. Each piece has a sleeve attached with a wood slat for hanging. The winner will be notified of how to transfer the funds and to provide an address for shipping.
